Hi,

So far I managed to make a macro that puts the "fields" of an email message into a Visual Foxpro database and places the attachments in a separate folder in a kind of digital archive. This works great.

I would like to display in Outlook that I archived a message. For example by changing he colour of the Outlook message of by adding an extra "field". However I don't have an idea how to make this.

What is the easiest way to make visible that I did something with an email massage?

Regards, Gerrit

Color coding in Outlook folders is controlled by the automatic formatting
settings for the current view. One approach would be to set a property value
on the Outlook item, either a built-in or a custom field, and then have the
automatic formatting setting change the color of the text displayed in the
view if that property has a certain value.
