How to make the network work when 1 computer is off

I have a cable modem run into the host computer then out
of the host computer I ran a cable to my other computer.
I have my network setup fine, everything works. I wanted
to know if there is a way for the host computer to be off
and still let the other computer use the internet.

Router connected to the internet and both computers connected to the
router. Then either computer can be off and you'll still have access with
the other.
