How to make Outlook 2000 in IMAP mode automatically download messa

I have configured a customer to use Outlook 2000 using IMAP. When a
send/receive happens only the headers are downloaded, not the entire message,
To get the messages, I have to use Tools/Download/All Items.

I cna't find a setting to get the entire message downloaded when it is first
read from the server. Is there a way? If not with Outlook 2000, then with a
later version?
