How to make backup disc of XP?

Just bought a new computer with Windows XP Home loaded
on it. I did not get a Windows XP disc. Is it possible
to "download" a copy of Windows XP from the hard drive
onto a disc? If so, How?

It depends on the way the maker did it. There *may* be a folder called
\i386 around (that is letter i, number 386) containing a lot of files
with _ as last character. If so, copy that and the containing folder,
with setup.exe and a few other files
