To make a PPT slide, I need to paste a neuron image, which is in
postscript file format. The image is a little faint. I hope to make it
darker. Is there a way to do it?
As a general rule, given a choice between pounding my toe with a large hammer
and working with PostScript in PPT, I'll go for the hammer every time. It's
easier on the nerves. PPT and PS make ugly music together.
If you can open the image in an image editing program (PhotoShop etc), do any
manipulation you need there, then save as PNG or JPG, you'll be better off.
On the other hand, if PPT *is* able to import the image (use Insert, Picture,
From File) you may be able to use the contrast and lightness adjustments on the
Picture toolbar to do what you want.
