Hello all
I have a new computer with XP home loaded on it. I am transfering stuff from an older computer with 98 on it. So, the user account is a new thing for me. I have run a spam filter program called Mailwasher on my old system with good result. I downloaded, installed, and set it up on the new computer under the first user account (has admin privilege). Mailwasher starts at boot and runs in the background, showing in the system tray near the lower right corner (much like zonealarm or norton). Usually right before bringing up the mail client, you double click on the Mailwasher icon and it "scrubs" your mail while it is still on the pop server. You then run your mail client which gets the mail off the server. That's a long explanation, but I wanted to set it up...
The second user account on my XP system has admin privilege, but can't see the Mailwasher icon in the system tray. (btw the same thing goes for zonealarm and I assume other programs which run in a similar manner). How can I set up a program like this for system wide accessibility? Your help is much appreciated

Regards

Chuck

Hi Chuck, all you need to do is go into windows explorer.Open My Computer, you should see Shared Documents there. You then need to open C drive, then program files. All you need to do then is whatever programs you would like all users to be able to use is left click on the program you wish to share then drag it into the shared documents folder. Hope this was of help to you
