2007 version - I want to make a picture that I have in powerpoint my desktop
picture.

Do a file Save As, and select Other formats and select an image type (my
choice is png) and save it to your HD. Then depending on your operating
system go to Control Panel, Display, navigate to where you put your image
and select it.

One method:

Open the PPT presentation in the PPT program (not the viewer). Go to the
slide that has the image. Click Orb, SaveAs. In the Save as type box
choose .bmp with an appropriate file name and location. In the next message
choose current slide only. This will create an image of the slide.

Depending on what operating system you have you simply (XP) right click on a
blank area of the desktop and look for the background tab. Browse to the
location of the image and use it as the desktop.

Vista, Right click the desktop, click Personalize, Desktop background,
Location dropdown and select Pictures then browse to the location of your
image.

Another method. SaveAs a web page and the specific images will be in the
folder that is created. You can use that image.

Hope this helps, let us know.
