This is probably an easy one, but I have failed to think of a solution.

I was to use my desktop as the main unit where I do my video editing, store
photos, music etc. it would be the most powerful computer.

I also want a laptop that has a partial image of this data so I can do work
on the move.

At the end of the day I want to be able to sync both units together (without
having any conflicts or at least be alerted to any that may exist) so that
if I create something in my documents folder on the laptop, it will be
copied over to the main computer, or vice versa (and modifying etc).

What do I need to make this happen?.

Thanks,

Tom

See SecondCopy 2000 from www.centered.com. Or, look into the native "offline
files" feature in Win2k. Personally, I have had way too many problems with
the latter (including lost data) to ever bother with it again, but many
people do use & like it.
