Hi, all

I need make an arrow like this: it grows gradually from its starting point and stops at the tartget point. If it can make turns that would be even better. Pretty much like what we often see on TV, those arrows indicating walking paths
Eg. Like the ones showing Indie Jones flying from Shanghai to India in the second movie
I could not find any standard shapes/funtions in PowerPoint2003. Do I have to buy some 3rd part add-in for this? Or there is a simpler solution
Thanks

Just to expand on what Shyam said ...

Insert your Map picture and resize to desired size
Insert your line (Autoshapes | Lines | Curve ) from point A to point B
Change line width to 6 pt.
Change Line color to Red
Change line 'dash style' to 'Round Dot'
Add entrance animation to 'Wipe' from left at very slow speed (5 seconds)

Play with the settings to make it what you had envisioned, and don't forget
to tell Harrison we said Hi.

Hi Suan,

What Bill said and:
Add an arrow point on the end of your curved line by
clicking on Format, Autoshape and set the arrow point as
desired. I like to use the strips effect when I'm using a
curved line. But like Bill said, play around. You can
enhance the effect with a wav sound.

And how many MVPs does it take to make a travel line
animation?

that you just created in PPT 2003? -

Hello,

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have suggestions for how to
make this easier to do in some future version of PowerPoint, don't forget
to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
