Hi all,
I'd a PC runninf W2k formatted in NTFS, and have the hard disk partition
into two, user must login in order to use the PC.
Now, the C-drive is installed with all the application, and, for the D-drive
would like to make it a perosnal drive to the owner of the PC,
The scenario is, say, user A login the PC, and created some folders/files in
the drive. how to make it visible to only A but not any other user who login
the PC? Visible means in the windows explorer other users cannot see the
folder or files that was created by A, of course not simply hide them.

Thanks in advance.

Koh

ps hopefully i posted to the right group.

As far as I am aware, you cannot make a folder invisible. You could however
set permissions that make it so no one can get inside that folder. Or nest
the folder in such a fashion:
D:\Owner\
and Set the permissions on Owner so that only 'A' is able to get into that
folder.

Best Regards,
Sam

Thanks.
