How to intercept outgoing mail from MS exchange server

Hi!

Does anybody know if it is possible to implement functionality like MS
Exchange Connector gateway using C# code and dotnet. A would like to catch
messages outgoing from MS Exchange server with particular email address mask
and send them out using proprietary communication sistem since these are
virtual email addresses that are not really connected to internet.

Any advice is welcome.
