Now i created a new DOS partition and its a FAT32 and now

the drivers it needs to install but it says it cant find
the hard drive my hard drive is a barracuda SATA 80gig
now this dosnt plug into the normal IDE it gose in a
little thing on my mother board ( ASUS A7V8X VIA KT400
chipset DDR400 ) now it say's that make sore the power is
switched on and the hard drive is connected properly and
it is PLAESE SOME ONE OUT THERE HELP

IT will be a great if i could get this fixed cos my
computer is out of action and my Trial HSC is currently
on and i need to study

press F6 when installing XP ( from memory ) and whack your floppy disk in
that contains the drivers work you serial ata so windows can pick up your
hard drive and hopefully even install windows onto it. serial ata is fastly
becoming a pain in the arse
