Dear All,
We have developed a WinForm application and are launching it via No
Touch. We would like to install .Net run time on all client
machines...but Administrators of the Organisation don't want to go to
each and every machine and install .net runtime and caspol it...is
there an enterprise solution for the same like:
1. Administrator can sign the setup.exe so that client users can
directly run this exe without having to log as administrators.
2. Administrator can create an install shield package and embed Admin
User and password so that when a client user runs this setup.exe it
internally logs in as an Administrator and installs the .net
runtime...

I tried the 2second solution but it failed...is there a
workaround...please help...we need to answer our clients...else we
will have to manually go to each and every machine and install
it...and there are 1000 machines per customer...Please help...

Hi Ed,
Thanks for replying...I have some queries regarding SMS
1. Does sms require Active Directory to be installed on the Domain
Server?
2. Is sms a costly investment?
3. Can it be installed in a remote Server that is not a Domain
Server?

Is there a cheaper solution...something like impersonation...where the
currentthread can log-in as an Administrator user and get full rights to
install the software...

Please help
