how to install my printer

bought a new computer with xp on it and tried to
install my lexmark 2050 printer and it says it is not
digitally signatured. do i have to buy a new printer
or where can i find information on how to do it myself

It might be worthwhile to see if you can find anything at
http://www.driverguide.com. The universal logon is drivers, password
all. Sometimes people post work-arounds in the drivers area.

I've read that often times Windows 2000 drivers will work on an XP system.
I've not tried myself, but you might want to give it a try.
