How to install CF SP2 on the emulator?

Hello everyone,

I now have CF sp2 for developers and the other package, but I'm not
quite sure how to use them properly.

I hava a WM2003 device (dell axim) and that has been updated, but I
don't know where to place the developer files so that the emulator
will use them.

I haven't gotten so far as building an installer for my project, but
when I do, I'll need to know how to package that using the sp2 files
as well.

Can anyone shed a little light on the matter, or point me in the
direction of a good explanation?

Here's a reply to the emulator question from a previous discussion from

In my apps, I install the .NetCF cab file to my app directory and explode it
using a Rapi app. The cab file knows how to install itself and then deletes
itself automatically.

Everything is available from www.microsoft.com/downloads. Choose .NET as
the product and search on "sp2" and you'll find it.
