how to insert a web page?

I am new to Powerpoint. I want to present a few Intranet Pages within a
Powerpoint slide. In what format must I save the web page in order to
insert it? I keep getting an error message.

If you want to display the webpages as live pages, check out the LiveWeb
addin: http://www.mvps.org/skp/liveweb.htm. It's free and very good.

Or you can create a virtual walk through by using a number of screen grabs
of the key web pages. For this I use SnagIt:

You can also link to the Web pages themselves. You can create an action
button or a hypertext link. If you want to make some text into a link,
highlight it and choose Hyperlink from the Insert menu. The details of
what to do are different in different versions of PowerPoint, but in any
version, you can either type in a URL or browse to the site you want.

If you do this, the pages aren't part of your presentation, just links
in the presentation. You can click on the link and it takes you to your
browser and the pages. Either hit your BACK button in the browser or
close the browser to return to your presentation right where you left
off.
