Front Page 2002: I need to insert a comment to a text where it is not
visible, just like the way comments behave in MS Word.

Have you checked Help? Do expect what you can do in Word to work in FP, as FP is design to create
HTML documents, not word processing documents.

I forget what it is exactly in FP 2002, but in FP 2003 it's under Insert |
Comment. In earlier versions it may be somewhere such as Insert | Web
Component but I believe it's just in the Insert menu. This is not the same
kind of comment as word has, it can't be due to the fact it's a completely
different medium and file format. This comment simply adds an HTML comment
ot the page and makes it visible to the editor. Normally this comment still
exists in the HTML but is simplly not visible in the browser. Because it
will still be visible in the final document's HTML, you may want to be
careful what you say as nosy people can poke around your code.

Hope this helps,

FP 2003 Insert > Comment

Type the comment in the box - it shows in design view in purple text, but is
not visible when the web page is viewed in a browser.

HTML comments are still visible in Browser | View Source
