How to input date in a control in Access using a graphic calendar

In some (well-designed) programs one can input date by clicking the control
box (usually a combo box) and then selecting the date in a popped-up
graphical calendar. Is this possible in Access? And if it is, how? Thanks for

There is a calendar control that can be installed as part of Access, but it
is prone to breaking your application (version/reference problems.)
