How to increase number of UNDO steps in XP? (CTRL Z)

How do increase the number of UNDO steps which I can do in XP's Windows
Explorer?

I renamed a group of files by mistake. The result was a set of very
similar file names with a number.

I wanted their original names back so I used CTRL Z. However that only
undid someof the file name.

I would like to increase the number of UNDO steps which I can do in XP's
Windows Explorer?

I would guess there is some parameter in the registry which defines
the number of undo's. Someone else here might know exactly where
it is.
