How to increase my virtual memory?

Victoria Gober

Everytime I sign on to my computer my computer ask me to
increase my virtual memory. So if anyone knows please let
me know.

Control Panel - System - Performance - Change and then you can configure
your virtual memory setting

Do the following: select Start, Control Panel and System
icon. Under the System Properties, select Advanced and
Performance Options. Under this area you will see "Virtual
memory' select change. Do one drive at a time, and do not
make it too large only large enough to correct the
problem. Say C = 150 - 256 or 512 and D the same. Be sure
to increase the registry size as this is typically where
the real problem is. But only by a little say 15 - 35 MB.
You may increase until the problem goes away.
