How to import video files

Using WMM 'Import to collections', I receive an error message when trying to
import single or multiple .MPG files. The error message reads "An interface
has too many methods to fire events from". I have no idea what ths means nor
how to overcome it. Any thoughts?

The error means the files you're importing
are not fully compatible with Movie Maker...
