How to import text file with percent greater than 100%

Trying to import a txt file (comma delimited) a field that has a value
greater than 100% imports to Access with five digits to the right of the
decimal point. I have tried many combinations and cannot get the right value
in Access. A search has revealed nothing.

What's the datatype of the field into which you are trying to import?
What "combinations" have you tried - what steps are you taking to do
the import?
