How to import Access 1.x into Access 2002?

I have seen some posts in the past which indicate that you can create a new
Access 2002 database and then use File|Get External Data|Import to bring all
of the version 1 objects. Once you have all of the objects in your new
database, you can then set about correcting code, references, etc.
