I normally use Outlook express. However, when I use my
web based email accounts and for which I do not have a
POP download, I cannot get the Outlook Express format to
open, although Microsoft Outlook 2002 opens.

I want to send sound files as imbedded in the messages
such as music files. How does one imbed and send these in
Outlook?

You cannot embed them in an e-mail. The best you can do is link to them
using HTML, but the files must be on a website.

However, I doubt many people would be able to hear since most e-mails
programs would block it. I've never ehard of being able to hear music played
back in an e-mail program.

Set your message format to HTML and enabled Word 2002 as your e-mail editor.
Start a new message. Right click on a menu/toolbar and select Web Tools.
Put cursor in body of message and select the speaker icon.
