If you do a reinstall, remember to also delete the folder Word
was installed to, and the normal.dot template. Word creates a
lot of files on the fly that will be left behind after you remove
it. It's possible you have a macro virus in your normal.dot
file. Try deleting it and letting word re-create it. You'll
lose your customizations when you do that, but that sounds OK
since you're planning to reinstall anyway.
