How to I set up email in outlook I went to windows and it's ok

I never really had used outlook on my home pc but want to start. I
configured email setups in windows but Outlook keeps asking about creating a
folder. Can you please help>

Hard to say without any configuration information. Most likely you've tried
to configure Outlook with the wrong configuration settings for your mail
account. Contact your ISP for the correct settings and start with a new mail
profile.
