How to I copy a moving bmp. or .gif file?

I used to be able to right click on an image from an email that I liked that
had motion, and then save it to my hard drive or my pictures folder. for
some reason, when I do this now, the motion is gone. I can copy the picture
and past into a document, but when I try to forward it, the picture turns to
an x -- a red x -- can any one help with this?

Not sure what relevance your question has to Frontpage, however:

The only files that would be animated are GIF formats or Flash files (these
are the common ones). BMP files can't be animated.

To email the picture, you must send the picture as a n attachment, in your
email.

You can't view an animation in something like Word if that's what you're
asking.
 
You may want to test by forwarding the email to your self. I have the same
problem and I believe after forwarding it then save.as or copy and paste to
the graphics editor.
