Right click on the task bar
Properties
Start Menu (tab)
Start Menu (radio button)
Customize
scroll down and check the Run command
Ok your way out

Of course it is not needed as you can just type ion what you are planning on
running into the search above the Start button

Or you can just type "run" as well.

Or, do this, and have done with it!
1) Right-click on Windows Orb
2) Choose "Properties"
3) Click on "Start Menu" Tab
4) Make sure "Start menu" radio button is selected.
5) Click on "Customize" button to right
6) Go down in list till "Run command" found, and make sure a checkmark is
placed in the box to the left.
Click on "OK"

Now, the "Run" command will always be on the Start Menu.

When will these idiotic questions stop? Why not just give the RIGHT ANSWER
instead?
1) The "Run command" has NOT been removed in Vista
2) The "Run command" is always where it has always been.
3) It hasn't moved.
4) Microsoft hasn't changed the paradigm, other than making it EASIER to
gain access to the Run command.
5) NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!

As I've said, WHY TYPE IN "RUN" EVERY TIME? Just make the darn command
appear on the Start Menu permanently using the proper method above!!!

You guys work yourselves to death!!!
