How to hide sidebar in MSN Messenger?

Greetings,

Not 100% sure which sidebar you're referring to, but if you're referring to the tabs on the
left-hand side of the Messenger window, you can remove these by opening up the main Messenger
window, clicking the Tools menu, then Options, then Privacy tab, check 'This is a shared
computer so don't display my tabs' and click OK. You'll need to sign off and back on to see
the change.
