How to hide function menu during power point show?

Hi, the transparent function menu located at the lower left corner bothers my
application seriously. Is there a way to turn it off? Thank you.
 
It varys slightly with the version Shihhua

In 2003/2 Tools > Options > View > untick show pop up toolbar
In 2007 the same thing but you get there from the big office button >
PowerPoint Options > Advanced

Note that this only works onthe computer where it's set (it's a registry
setting), it won't move with the presentation

Tools > Options > View Tab > uncheck Show PopUp Toolbar
