How to hide detached toolbar title

Is there a way to hide the title of a toolbar that I have on my desktop?

I can remove the text of all the icons within the toolbar, but I would like
to remove the title bar too.

Also is there a way to make these transparent?

Right click on the toolbar background, then uncheck Show Title

I too would like to see the background transparent

I would also like to set a delay on the auto-hide so that it doesn't appear if you accidentally have the pointer hit the edge of the screen.
 
That option is not available on all toolbars (ie desktop toolbar)
