how to hide Contacts folders?

I am synchronizing my Outlook 2002 "Contacts" file to my
PDA and would like to be able to hide at least some of
the folders in that file. For example, some of the
Contact entries are my bank, software suppliers, etc, and
the data in these entries include passwords, user id, etc.
The "private" button at the bottom right of the Contact
data entry screen doesn't seem to do anything. I suppose
I could have my PDA require a password on start-up, but I
would prefer to be able to only require a password to
view the few folders I wish to be hidden. Any help would
be appreciated.

Why not create a second contacts folder and move the sensitive items to it
so they will not be synchronized with your PDA?
