How to have two email accounts with Hotmail and different inboxes

How can I set up outlook with two email addresses? Both are from Hotmail so
when I had them set up in outlook, it used only one account inbox for both?
If I would go to hotmail I could see each account individually without a
problem?
 
No, it creates separate storage locations for both. What version of Outlook
are we talking about here and how did you set up things? Steps to reproduce?
