In Outlook (2002), what methods - with or without add-ins - will allow me to
group contacts by their email address *domain* i.e. the

microsoft.com

yahoo.com

bbc.co.uk

etc. part of an email address?

and on a related note, ultimately I only want to keep one contact at each of
these domains, how can I delete the others? i.e. if I have contacts with
email addresses:

(e-mail address removed)

(e-mail address removed)

(e-mail address removed)

I only want to keep the contact (e-mail address removed)

Any assistance would be most appreciated!

Thanks in advance, Simon.

I am thinking it might need a user-defined field along with a formula...

Does anybody have any thoughts and/or places on the web where I might find
information on extracting the domain part from an email address in Outlook
2000/2002?
