How to: GP to enable user to change

Laptop users are set up as restricted users so they can't install programs,
etc but they need to be able to change the laptop's ip address to do service
calls (connecting to customers systems). Can this be accommodated?
 
Not in Windows 2000. If you use XP Pro, you can add the user to the network
configuration operators group. --- Steve
