How to go to Inbox direct?

Sorry for asking this basic question, I just reinstalled the system and
forgot how I did it before.

1. How do I go to Inbox directly once Outlook opened?
2. How do I set up to send/receive when Outlook first opened?

1) Tools | OPtions | Other | Advanced Options | Startup In This Folder
2) Outlook version?

Tools | Send/Receive Settings | Define Send/Receive Groups. If you set a
schedule for send/receive for the All Accounts, Outlook should perform the
first send/receive shortly after startup.
