I know this is probably the silliest question, but for the life of me I
cannot find how :(
There is no "Save as...", nor "Export", or simply "Save Slide show to PPS
file".
Oh, but there is a "Save as PDF feature"! Go figure!

Thanks in advance guys :)

Don't know! (That "Save As" option is there in PPT 2003, but you're
using 2007). This newsgroup is for the Access database, so you'll have
better luck in something like microsoft.public.powerpoint

This group really ought to be renamed
microsoft.public.access-database.gettingstarted, as lots of people make
the same mistake!

Do File Save As, scroll down until you see 97-2003 and select that one

What's a PowerPoint MVP doing here? :) Thanks Michael!

That will give you a PPT. Then, I've found that just renaming a PPT
to PPS will give you the instant slideshow feature (not switching to
design view).

Trying to learn something I know absolutely nothing about ;-o))

Welcome! Please don't hesitate to ask questions here! And stop by
and visit in the MVP newsgroup.
That method will work in all versions prior to 2007. If you want a PPS file, just scroll down the list a little further until you hit 97-2003 slideshow

But will renaming a PPTX to PPSX work to create a 2007 slideshow?
