How can I get Windows updates for my son’s computer which is not connected to
internet?
Could I use my computer and download the updates on a memory stick and then
install them on his computer?
On the other hand he is using his for games only and has no trouble so far.
Should I even bother about updates?
Thanks,

Well, I'm probably going to get an earful, but, if the machine isn't
connected to the internet and if it isn't part of a home network that
connects to the internet and if all is working fine then I wouldn't
bother with updates. If you decide to connect to the internet or if the
machine is part of a network that connects to outside world then you
should do the updates. If the machine has specific problems that are
addressed by specific fixes then you can download only these fixes.
Otherwise if it ain't broke I wouldn't bother trying to fix anything.

What you could do is download and save the network installation package
for Service Packs as they become available and save these, if ever he
runs into software that needs the later service pack it will be easy to
install the service pack. For SP2 see here:

This works very well http://wud.jcarle.com/Default.aspx
You can download the files and burn them to CD or copy to USB etc.
If you are interested I can send you a small bat file that will automate the
installs so they don't have to be install one at a time.

Thank you for the replies.
You are right, I will stick to “if it ain’t broke why fix it†rule and try
to stay out of trouble.
