I have a Laptop which installed Windows XP Home Edition. I need to re-install
the Windows system but I don't have CD. How can I get the Windows XP Home
Edition software to re-install it?

Thanks

First - read the manuals/documentation that came with the laptop. When you
purchased it (assuming you got it new) they had to provide you with a way to
return it to an as-sold state. That may be a special way of booting, the
creation of CD/DVD restoration media or something else.

Second - barring the first working - read the manufacturer's FAQs and/or
contact them for a replacement method to do this.

Last - if you have proof of purchase...

Another alternative could be obtaining a generic Windows XP Home Edition CD
and using the product key on the sticker on the laptop to install.
