My spouse downloaded and installed virus detection software from PCWorld.com, after installing the computer rebooted, and continued to constantly reboot going into windows each time. Now the computer won't start windows I get an error message stating that the hml.dll file is mising or corrupt. I want to install a virus fix that I downloaded from emachines but it has to run out of windows how can I get the computer to reboot into windows? Is there a Boot Disk available for XP that will allow the computer to open up into windows? Emachines sayes ask for a Boot Disk Patch from Microsoft, but I can't find one. HELP

Where did you look for an XP boot disk?
It is right on the microsoft website.
Try looking there. It will make 6 boot floppies. But if you have trouble
finding the boot disks then you won't need them anyway. Try to find a
quailfied technician for help. From your post, I don't think the boot floppy
disks will help you as they do involve some technical skill in using.
good luck.
