How to get the clipboard to show in Internet Explorer

I don't think you can. IE will display a limited set of image files, e.g., JPG,
PNG, etc. Any image still in the Clipboard (which is a memory buffer) is not in
any file format until it's pasted in a graphic program and then save-as a file.

Try opening MS Paint, select Paste (this will only be available if clipboard has
content) from the menu and then save-as a JPG file. Close Paint, navigate to the
JPG file, right-click and open with IE.

Just in case your main purpose was only to view what's in the clipboard, here's
a link that will show you how to utilize the Clipbook Viewer in Windows XP. This
will enable you to see what's currently been loaded to a clipboard and save it,
if necessary. Note that this data is in volatile memory, so it must be either
saved as a .CLP file or it will be deleted by the next Cut/Copy command or upon
system restart. The .CLP file is not viewable using IE.
