Hello
I have a table with 2 columns and 4 rows
Left margin is .75

When I type text it aligns to the left margin but when I create a table
and move it, it will move past the margin. How do I align it to the same
margin that the text is aligned to? Is there a "snap to" guideline?

Also how do you keep the handle that appears in the upper left of a
table to stay visible all the time? This would make moving the table
quicker without waiting for the handle to appear as you move the curser
around in just the right spot

G'Day David,

margin that the text is aligned to?
<Snip>

The Table is 'naturally' aligned so that the Left margin of
left-aligned Text INSIDE the table will line up with the
Left margin for the Text ABOVE and BELOW the table.

To line up the Left Border of the Table, do the following:
Right-Click in any cell, choose
'Table Properties'
'Table' (tab)
'Options' (button)
Make a Note of the Cell Left
Margin: usually .08" (.19 cm)
Click 'Cancel' (button)
In the 'Indent from left:' box enter
the closest equivalent .1" (.2 cm)
Click 'Ok' (button)
All Done!

Also how do you keep the handle that appears in the upper left
of a table to stay visible all the time?

Just 'hover' the mouse-pointer over the table, then move smoothly
upward and leftward until you are over the handle.
OK?
