How to get security features to be reasonable?

Anyone:

I was having so much trouble with the security settings
in my IE 6 that I turned them off. Then my daughter
misspelled "Russian Ballet" in Yahoo and accidentally
visited a site that was a sight . . . one we'd rather she
didn't see.

So now the security settings are back on. They aren't
set real high, but EVERY site we go to asks for a
password, and since only I know it it is preventing any
use by my kids. Besides, it is a pain for me to have to
enter a password to view this site, for example, or every
article I see on Yahoo news and any other site or page.

Anyone have suggestions for making this work like it
ought to?

You can change your Content Advisor settings in Internet Explorer by using
Tools/Internet Options/Content and then clicking the Settings button.
