Any one know how to just dump the picture period? Is there a fix in the
registry?

Thanks,

Allen

In addition to Doug's brilliant advice.....if you decide to go that route
and don't have any added specialized user pictures, the zip file on line 58
will restore them for you:

Restore User Default Pictures (Line 58)

Also, if you are having trouble getting them to show after removal:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

Thanks Doug!
That did it. :) Great advice.

Not in the registry that's been found so far. But you can do the
following. In Windows Explorer, go to:

Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User
Account Pictures

Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User
Account Pictures\Default Pictures

In each of these folders, highlight all of the BMP files and right
click. Select Send To, Compressed Folder. Then you can delete the
BMP files. The Compressed folder is just in case you want to restore
them later.

Log off/Log on, and the picture should be gone.
