how to get rid of the 'letter' paper size

How can I get rid of the annoying LETER paper size in all windows XP
and applications ?
I always use A4
 
1. Go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes
2. From the Toolbar select: File > Server Properties > Forms
3. Make your desired settings, click Apply.

Change the default settings in your Printer under Printers and
Faxes. If you do it in the application, it will revert to whatever
is set in your printer settings if the application is well behaved.
