How to get rid of the accumulated urls in the internet explorer address area

Hello guys
I want to know a simple thing that I am not well aware of...I know there
is way to clean the internet explorer accumulated urls....
Every time I keyed in a new webpage in the internet explorer toolbar
it remains there and its keeps on increasing everytime I keyed in
another webpage address.
I want to cut down the numerous address that are not needed. Can
anybody guide me in this area ?

Hello,

Clear History in Start > Control Panel > Internet Options should do it.

Note that the above will erase *all* history links including links in the
History.

Go to http://www.aandrc.com/ and download the free "Edit URL" program
It will let you delete selected URL's listed or delete all of the them.
It automatically corrects the order required in the registry.

Thanks guys....I was able to remove the URLs.... at will now.....
