how to get rid of second OS?

I had installed 2 OS winXP and WinME
each on a hard drive

I formatted the drive with Me on it, but I still have the screen with the
option to choose which OS i do want to start with.

Pls help how do I get rid of the opening screen with the choices?

Right click My Computer, Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery. In the
System startup section, click the Edit button. This opens BOOT.INI in
Notepad. Remove the reference to Windows ME and save the file. If you're
not sure about what to delete, post back with the contents of your BOOT.INI
file.
