how to get rid of OINADSERVER

I am wondering if anyone knows how to get the Microsoft Antispyware to catch
and remove a certain harrasment? I am running Nortons, Ad-aware and the Beta
version of the Microsoft antispyware and all are allowing a popup from
oinadserver (sometimes just oinadserve) to come through. Annoying as heck as
it usually goes immediately to an online gambling site or an ad for a porn
site. any ideas?

Hello Shelley,

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/for...ojan_Virus_Worms_or_other_Malware-tut101.html

http://www.ewido.net/en/onlinescan/

Ewido :

http://www.ewido.net/en/

Install ewidº.
During the installation, under "Additional Optiºns"
uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via
context menu".
Launch ewidº
On the left side of the main screen click updªte
Click on Start and let it updªte.
Then Run a Complete System Scªn
Some Antivirus scanners cannot remove infections because you are online and
they are running on the system when you perform the scªn.

In safe mºde.
Now scan with Ewido. Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then
click on Complete System Scan. This scan can take quite a while to run.

Once its started scanning it will display an alert window when it finds any
infected files, when you see this first alert check the boxes "Perform action
with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on ok

When the scan finishes, If ewido finds anything in the scan click on "Save
Report". This will create a text file. Save to desktop or c:drive incase you
need to post it bªck.

( Its shows its a 14 day trial but it performs fine after that expires, you
will
just need to update the scanner manually as the auto updates are part of the
triªl)
Go for scans in safe mode and also add Ewido and Ccleªner
http://www.ccleaner.com
as Ewido performs great with Trojans and Ccleaner will clear your temp
folders where a lot of malware hides instªllers.

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe
http://computercops.biz/HijackThis.html

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select Scan and Save Log.
Note where you saved the log then send it to him as an attachment. Put
Hijack in the subject so he'll know it's not spªm.

Alternatively you can post it on the Dell Forum ªt:

http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board?board.id=si_hijack

(if it wraps you can go tº:

http://tinyurl.com/ckuzq instead.)

Put Ron in the subject so he will see it. You do not need to have a Dell to
post but you will need to register.

I hope that (this) post is helpful, let us know how it works ºut.
