How to get rid of MoneySide sidebar in IE6.0?

Many times when I advance thru Internet Explorer 6.0 in
Windows XP, a sidebar appears on the left, called
MoneySide. It's just a simple ad, but it pushes the
content I want over so far that I have to readjust the
screen. The only good thing is that it doesn't flash.
(People who use flashing ads ought to be whipped.) Is
there a way to permanently rid myself of this, or any, ad
sidebar in IE? Or at least keep it from cropping up
during that session? TIA.
P.S. - It would be nice if I could also permanently get
rid of the message that appears at the bottom telling me
I'm connected to the Internet. TIA2

Q: How can I keep MoneySide from opening automatically?

A: You can change the MoneySide settings so that it opens only when you choose.

On the Help menu in MoneySide, click Settings.
Select the options you want to customize:
To turn off MoneySide for one browsing session, select the Close MoneySide and
don't open again during this session check box.
To customize MoneySide never to open automatically, under Open MoneySide, select
Never.
Click Done.
You can also add the MoneySide icon to the toolbar in Internet Explorer for easy
access.

Open Internet Explorer.
On the View, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
Under Available toolbar buttons, click MoneySide, and then click Add.
Click Close.
Now when you want MoneySide to open, click the MoneySide icon in the Internet
Explorer toolbar.

It worked, Wes. Thanks!
