Windows 10 How to get rid of lines on documents

I have a question about my documents in Windows 10. I was changing different things on my settings and now when I bring up a document, it has lines on it. What did I do to get them and how do I get rid of them???? They don't appear on the document when I print it, but I still don't like them on the document.
 
If you're using Word have you accidently clicked Format then Borders and Shading. Try clicking on the "None" button in this setting then "OK" and this may remove the lines. :)

Is it a grid? If so, go to the View tab and untick the Gridlines box and it should go away.
